I was blown away by the response of the children and families who have worked together over half term to use their knowledge from school, research information and create the most amazing Saxon artefacts. The topic has been popular with the children and I am looking forward to Bede's World so we can see what we have been learning about in real life. Thank you for working together to produce some great homework projects.

High praise indeed for this new book which you will soon find in the school library. I've also managed to secure book 1 for those of you who missed it. Should you want your own copy then follow the link - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Battle-Beasts-House-Secrets-Book/dp/0007490178/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1424180663&sr=1-3&keywords=house+of+secrets
I look forward to seeing your comments below once you've read the books. We have been growing cress in different conditions to see how plants grow. As you can see from our investigation cress doesn't grow very well if it has no light, no water or no food. Over the past two weeks we have watched the cress change with some surprising results. We didn't expect a plant would grow with no light, food or water but amazingly we discovered that only the plant with no water didn't grow at all.
Can anyone grow some cress at home in perfect conditions? Use everything we have learned about what makes plants grow. The book looks like it is about a man that saves his town from an monsters, green, ugly hairy monster. The monster looks like it invaded the giant town. The man who looks like the hero in the story looks ,like a knight with armour and a big shield, to protect him from the monsters giant teeth. The story looks like it's about to get legendary. The boy who looks like he is going to save his town looks young. The monster looks like it has eaten something very very special to the boy.I think the boy has to go inside the monsters mouth to get.
